Andreea Grigorescu Position: Senior Associate

Short Presentation

Andreea is a member of the Bucharest Bar and Senior Associate within CAAL.

She is acknowledged as one of the Romanian experts in public procurement and public-private partnership. From August of 2011, Andreea coordinates CAAL Department for Public Procurement & Projects.

Prior to joining CAAL, Andreea coordinated the Litigation Department of a law firm in Bucharest. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the Bucharest Law School and in 2006, has been awarded by the Bucharest Bar with a medal for outstanding achievements in Business Law.

Andreea has successfully coordinated the procurement of complex projects in utilities sectors, infrastructure, environment, assisting private operators or contracting authorities in infrastructure process of organization and/or participation in tendering procedures. Also, Andreea has an extensive experience in representing clients before Dispute Resolution Council (CNCS) and the court in public procurement litigations. Furthermore, she is specialized in commercial litigation, one of her major projects involving a total of 80 cases refering to international insurance-reinsurance contracts.

Andreea has assisted national and multinational companies on infrastructure, steel industry or IT on contractual liability, labour relations, industrial property rights etc. She has also been involved in successful projects regarding copyright and arbitration proceedings before the International Court of Comercial Arbitration.
