Tudor Chiuariu attended the European Lawyers Conference, in Brussels, on September 25th and 26th, an event which debated the latest developments in European Law. The EU Law and the way it is implemented in Romania are focus areas for “Chiuariu & Associates – Attorneys-at-law” (CA).
Participants at the event in Brussels debated several topics, among which:
- “European Law and its institutional architecture; the future of the Treaty of Lisbon”
- “European Competition Law- the European Commission inquiry into the Pharmaceutical sector; the view of the Practitioner”
- “The protection of designs under EC law: an insider perspective”
- “Employment contracts for mobile employees in the EEA”
- “The emergence of European risk regulation- The 'fear of the month' and cost-benefit analysis: the Bisphenol. A case study.”
- “The other integrated Europe – an overview of the European Free Trade Area Agreement and the European Economic Area”
- “European Law and the regulation of financial services: where do we stand today?”.
This was the second such meeting of the European Lawyers chain. European Lawyers is a ‘European-based Law Network’ which embraces all world, and the network counts today on 2,800 lawyer members on a global scale.
